The pencil brush strokes react so believably that I often forget that I'm not using paper and pencil. For one thing, it's absolutely free, super intuitive, has plenty of brushes, and offers dozens of other tools to help me create the artwork I envision. One of the options for egg decorating is to download my Procreate egg faces set (either the free sample or the full 25-stamp set), then select one of the stamps to paint on the egg. To paint your egg, you will use your Procreate brushes. Once you have the basics down, you will be able to implement other techniques. Along with this free egg object, you will receive a PDF containing step-by-step instructions and photos directing you to create the egg you see here. But you’re in luck! I have done the hard work so you don’t have to.

It might seem overwhelming at first because it is a totally new environment. Once you have imported it into Procreate, you can paint it as desired. You must import an object file (.obj) that has been specially mapped for 3D. If you haven’t used it, you might not even be aware that it is there. Did you know that Procreate now has a 3D painting mode? It came with the latest Procreate update.
